Matt and his team undertook a few different projects around our house including: - leveling the backyard, and laying turf - installing a long retaining wall which wrapped the property, with bay trees, as an alternative to fence toppers - new shed slab - extension of the driveway for a second car space - landscaping the front garden to introduce easy to maintain native plants This all started with a consultation from Matt, where he took us through various ideas and possibilities.  The projects were completed in a reasonable time and Matt was thorough with his communication regarding timelines and costs. When your landscape designer recommends Blume Landscaping as his go-to for excellence and commitment to delivering highest quality service and product, you know you can’t go wrong. And we didn’t! We engaged  Matt and team to overhaul our back deck and tired gardens and we now have a beautiful, elegant, practical space for years to come. Matt is the epitome of professionalism , dedicated to excellence, is a consummate communicator, listens closely, and as a problem solver,  is a cut above. Matt and team built a new deck, installed concrete BBQ and seating, lighting and planting and irrigation. Matt made the whole process so seamless and we thoroughly enjoyed working with he and his crew…all of whom are A grade people and highly skilled. We really  appreciated the high expectations Matt had of always leaving the site clean and tidy. Matt & his team were very thorough, easy to communicate with & punctual. We believe someone ran over our sprinkler head & snapped it. Matt came over straight away, fixed it, free of charge & whilst here tweaked all the sprinklers.Our landscaping, paving around the pool looks beautiful. Blume have just completed a neat job of resurfacing my driveway, installing mild steel garden edging, paving the entry using recycled bricks and paving a rear patio under a new verandah. It is a big improvement and makes the front more welcoming and rear much more useable.

We worked with Matt and his team at Blume to renovate and build a beautiful back garden, and we could not be happier with the final outcome they delivered. From the beginning, we knew we needed someone with a very keen eye and strong attention to detail, especially as we had chosen a paving stone that required real talent and skill to lay correctly. Matt accomplished this perfectly. It wasn’t just the paving, either — the project included everything from completely demolishing and clearing the old backyard to building new decking, a BBQ area, garden beds, planting, irrigation, lighting, a water feature, and new fencing. Everything was planned, managed, and executed with the finest attention to detail. Matt was also incredibly professional throughout the entire process. From our first meeting, he immediately understood our goals and had thoughtful ideas on how to bring our landscape designer’s vision to life. He provided a detailed quote and took the time to walk us through each line item so we knew exactly what was involved. Communication was excellent — he kept us informed about expectations, timelines, and each day’s goals. Matt and his team always turned up when they said they would, and he was readily available whenever we needed to discuss anything. I can’t recommend Matt and the team at Blume highly enough. We are absolutely delighted with the work Matt and his team from Blume Landscapes recently finished on our driveway. For 16 months, the fine gravel surface of our second car spot had been a constant source of frustration, getting tracked into the house and our shoes. The west-facing driveway also gets incredibly hot in the summer. We wanted a solution that wouldn't absorb and radiate heat like traditional paving, and on Matt’s expert advice, we decided on grass pavers. It was a brilliant solution that not only allows a car to park there but also has a welcome cooling effect. The execution was flawless. Matt and his team were hard-working and meticulous, carefully preparing the site and then laying the pavers and inserting very small patches of turf with incredible precision to fit our oddly-shaped space perfectly. The entire team was also extremely friendly, tidy, and thoughtful, always taking great care of our property while they worked. I was impressed by Matt from when he first quoted. He was the  only contractor (of the 8 builders or landscapers who inspected a collapsed boundary retaining wall and fence) who identified a clear strategy from the start for clearing the debris and building the replacement. He completed a complex and difficult build with plans and specs having to be adjusted and modified  during construction. We’ve had Matt and his team look after our gardens and yard for several years now, even after moving house, and he and the team have always been extremely reliable, professional, and leave our yard looking excellent every time. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt for every project.
